Efficient Lighting & Maintenance is no stranger to using the Ventex Snapstick for their retrofits. On this particular job site, there were a number of signs at the Kentucky Fried Chicken location that needed help.
Danny from Efficient Lighting & Maintence said, “We recently completed a massive retrofit for KFC. We retrofitted the interior lighting from 2×4 T8 lamps to 2×4 LED, added sensors in the restrooms and office, refrigeration, fan motor change outs and of course, the exterior signage. LED sign modules were installed in the pylon sign, building signs, driveway signs, drive thru menus board, and the building signage.” It’s a massive job but it’s well worth it from everyone involved. “We’re estimating the kWh savings to be 40,389, just for the lighting portion of this retrofit.” he added. “And when you consider the incentives they received were north of $19,000 and the payback period is 2.9 years, that’s an awesome deal.” Danny knows what he’s talking about when it comes to rebates and energy efficiency. He’s been with EL&M for 16 years and understands the nuances of an ever changing industry. It’s what allows EL&M to successfully navigate the ever changing landscape of the retrofit world. “Our guys have a comfort level with Ventex products.”
Mike, an electrical contractor with Efficient Lighting & Maintence echoes that sentiment. He has been using Ventex Snapsticks for over two years and is happy EL&M made the switch to Ventex. “Using the Snapstick saves me time out in the field and the results are always impressive!” said Mike. You can listen to what Mike has to say below.
Snapsticks are easy to use and can be loaded in the field, as is the case below, or they can be preassembled at the shop. For this particular location, the old fluorescent was removed and the snapsticks were installed in each sign. Note how neatly the sticks are layed out in the picture of the half-installed retrofit.
Take a closer look at the pictures below and you’ll notice that the retrofitted signs (Pylons, Letters, Partial border) really pop. Notice the dim lighting under the red and white striped canopy on either side of the large “KFC” letters. You can also clearly see the huge difference on the red border ringing the store. The right side border is finished but the red border above the “KFC” has yet to be worked on. Well lit exterior signage for a business is much more inviting than a dim, I have found great online pharmacy where I bought modafinil online http://www.canadianpharmacy365.net/product/provigil/. Keep your businesses signage brightly lit and professional looking and your customers will come.
